Ranch Community Services is committed to working with individuals with disabilities in a supportive environment to enable them to develop to their fullest potential at work, at home and in the community.

Ranch Community Services has serviced Metro Milwaukee area for over forty years. Since our founding in 1964, services provided by Ranch Community Services have grown to include nine community-based residential homes, day programming for 140 participants, and employment services for adults with barriers to employment. Ranch Community Services' one hundred acre site provides a fully accessible miniature golf course, wheelchair accessible tractor drawn wagon rides through our nature trails and therapeutic horseback riding for children, youth and adults with disabilities.

Ranch Community Services has been a leader among rehabilitation agencies in developing programming that is community-based and person-centered. This means that individual choices and desires are respected and that each person served is encouraged to be active participants in all that the community has to offer - including employment and volunteer opportunities, activities of daily living and recreational opportunities. Ranch Community Services is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), a national organization that establishes "best practices" standards in the rehabilitation field. CARF is a voluntary accreditation process, which Ranch Community Services pursues in order to demonstrate its commitment to being a premier provider of services for its customers. The most recent accreditation, received in August of 2004, was for a period of three years - the longest accreditation period that can be granted by a CARF survey team.
