Emotional

- Increased self-awareness
- Greater self-control

Learning & Development
- Improved ability to follow directions
- Improved social interaction
- Increased cooperation
- Increased attention span
- Improved listening skills

The Ranch Riding Center was established in1976, providing an alternative form of physical and recreational therapy for individuals with a variety of disabilities. The benefits of therapeutic riding are well recognized by the medical community, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

Riding has been a way to get Mark to focus and center himself. The proprioceptive and vestibular motion of the horse has a calming effect. Speech and language are also improving."   Diane Saeger (mother)
